I’m a reporter for TBD, a website covering the metropolitan Washington region that’s launching later this summer.
I’m a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where I double-majored in government and politics and journalism and served as the editor in chief of the 15,000-circulation campus daily, The Diamondback for 2009-2010 academic year.
I’ve previously interned at or written for Newsweek, PolitiFact, Congressional Quarterly, The Capital in Annapolis, Md. and at the Waltham Daily News Tribune in Massachusetts.
I also have a LinkedIn. And a Twitter. And a Tumblr. Those latter two sites are where I do most of my daily mindcasting/blogging/aggregating. This blog is for longer-form thoughts, mainly on journalism.
I’m originally from Wilmington, Mass. and am a proud graduate of Wilmington High School. I’m a political junkie and Red Sox obsessive.
